How to clean your grill accessories

Do your grill accessories look like they’ve lost a fight with a grease monster? If so, we can help clean that up. Just follow our step-by-step instructions to get your accessories good and clean, so you can get back to doing what you do best – firing up the grill.
Instructions
Step 1: SOAK WITH WATER
Start by soaking accessories in hot, soapy water to loosen any grease, sauce, or food debris. You’ll want to soak utensils for at least 15-20 minutes for the magic to happen.
Step 2: SCRUB WITH A GRILL BRUSH
Grab a grill brush and watch the grime and debris melt away. If you need help getting to those hard-to-reach places, grab a toothbrush and get to work on the nooks and crannies.
Step 3: SAY GOODBYE TO STUBBORN STAINS
Got a tough stain that you just can’t scrape? Place your tools on a warm grill and allow the heat to help dissolve the buildup, making it easier to scrape off and scrub.
Pro-tip* citrus based soaps tend to be too mild for tough stains and don’t work as well on grease and grime.
Step 4: GET RID OF RUST
If your tools are starting to rust, you could bring them back to life by trying a vinegar and baking soda solution. Mix the two together and allow it to form a paste like solution. Apply the paste to the rusty spots and let it sit for about 10 minutes, then scrub and shine.
Pro-tip* coat metal tools and stainless steel with vegetable oil before storing them in drawers and cabinets, this will help prevent them from rusting.
Step 5: WIPE DRY WITH BOUNTY
Lastly, grab Bounty to wipe your tools dry. Bounty is always there to help get your accessories back in top grilling form.
Now that your tools are clean and dry, toss your BBQ favorites on the grill and get fired up.
